The Dracula’s Experience
NEi’s core product is the hugely popular Dracula’s Cabaret. Opened in 1980 in an inner city laneway in Melbourne, Dracula’s is now in its 4th decade of operation, making it the longest continuously running entertainment venue in Australian history. Dracula’s has entertained over seven million people from all over the world. Unlike any other venue of its kind, guests enter the auditorium via a genuine Ghost Train.
The feature of Dracula’s experience is the award winning production show featuring live music, comedy, puppetry and spectacular cabaret acts. A quality 3-course meal is also offered, as well table service throughout the night. Dracula’s photography studio and souvenir gift shop are popular elements to the night, providing guests with a memento of their unique experience.

It all starts with the faint ripple on the surface of your wine glass, that tingle of anticipation, the lights dim, thighs slide to the edge of the seats… suddenly, to the crackle of a guitar amp, the dead scream to life!
Aptly named Muertos or ‘dead’ in Spanish - the latest carnaval de la carnage to explode live on stage is a tribute to the Mexican Day of the Dead, and a wild celebration of living on the razors edge. Muertos opens like an exploding glitter-filled piñata. The show moves at a bone rattling pace, layering carnival acts, death-defying aerial acrobatics, groin-aching vocals and of course Dracula’s signature bible-clutching comedy.
You’ll fall into a flowery grave of vibrant colours and hip gyrating flamenco, as the show takes on a life of its own, appearing across five stages, as well as mid-air above the audience.
